LEGIC is a card technology used in broadly understood access control systems. It is distinguished by being fully secure. The LEGIC Advant technology is an advanced system that has not yet been compromised. The investor can be certain that no one is able to copy the card independently, and that producing a card with the same number will not enable access to the facility, as readers are appropriately programmed to cooperate only with original cards.

Application areas
The LEGIC security platform based on the most modern security standards ensuring data integrity includes integrated circuits of readers and smart cards, tools for key and authorization management, and the LEGIC Connect service, consisting of a trusted service and SDK package for mobile applications.
LEGIC’s patented Master-Token System Control (MTSC) is the key to security and easy management of proximity applications for smart cards. The Master-Token is the main element of the security concept ensuring full control over the system. Possessing a unique and impossible to copy physical medium therefore means greater security for the owner. MTSC as a security solution allows for flexible and open use of the LEGIC technological platform. MTSC primarily consists of the GAM card (authorization card for creating Sub-Master-Tokens), SAM (read/write authorization card for readers), and IAM (authorization card for creating and deleting card segments).
Highest security
Instead of securing administrative rights in an identification system with unstable passwords, security with MTSC is linked to a special physical smart card, the Master-Token. No personal data is stored on this special card. The owner has power over the installation and retains independence. The Master-Token can be securely stored, transferred to trusted persons, and withdrawn at any time. Only the Master-Token enables authorization of readers and creation of identification media and further subordinate Tokens.
